When we started Actvio, it wasn’t because we wanted to build another outdoor brand — we just wanted to make gear that actually works the way people expect it to.
I still remember the day this idea took shape. It was during a camping trip outside Denver, the kind where the wind cuts right through your jacket and your coffee cools before you take a second sip. My friend dropped his bottle (again), and we both laughed — but then I thought, why can’t we make one that never tips over, keeps heat longer, and doesn’t cost a fortune? That’s how Actvio began.
Our focus has always been simple: durability, usability, and honesty.
We don’t chase trends. We build things we’d actually want to use ourselves — stainless steel wobble bottles that stay upright even when life doesn’t, ceramic mugs that hold warmth and memories at the same time.
When it comes to production, we take it personally.
Our manufacturing partners are based in China, and finding them wasn’t a quick online search — it took months of calls, video tours, and a few very long nights comparing samples, finishes, and heat retention tests. I’ve sat in workshops watching how steel is molded and sealed, and how a single layer of coating can change everything.
We don’t pick factories. We pick people — those who care about precision, who send photos of prototypes late at night asking, “Is this the color tone you wanted?” That kind of communication makes all the difference.
Our team in Denver is small but tight-knit — designers, product testers, logistics folks who double as coffee addicts. Everyone’s involved in every stage, from choosing materials to testing samples on real hikes and road trips. We’re not a big corporate setup; we’re a bunch of detail-obsessed people trying to make outdoor gear more reliable and affordable without cutting corners.
We believe transparency is part of quality.
That’s why we talk openly about where things come from and how they’re made. Every Actvio product goes through our internal QC process before shipping — we test, re-test, and if something doesn’t feel right, it doesn’t go out.
